Open Day Event!

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September we will be holding a William Morris Open Day event! Unlike other William Morris Open Day events the whole shop will be given up to William Morris. This means we can show the full collection, including the fabulous Charles Stone NY collection. FREE single vision lenses AND 10% off frames – it really is an event worth attending!

Welcome Ruth!

We’d like to issue a big WELCOME to our new dispensing optician Ruth. Ruth qualified as a dispensing optician in 1995 so brings a wealth of experience to Frost Borneo. She really is one of the most cheerful people you’ll meet and is a pleasure to work with. Welcome Ruth!

Proud sponsors!

We’re very proud to be sponsoring the Jurassic Walk Challenge for Berkshire Vision taking place on 21st July. We decided to donate our £125 Henley Royal Regatta window winner winnings to this incredibly worth while cause. Berkshire Vision are a local charity that do wonderful work supporting the visually impaired. We are very pleased to be able to be able to support them.

Window Winners!

We are proud and delighted to announce that we are first prize winners of this year’s HRR window competition! The judges came to the unanimous decision that our window best celebrated this momentous occasion, incorporating bunting, oars, all-in-ones and everyone’s favourite regatta essential – Pimms!

Frost Borneo in partnership with Leander Club!

We are thrilled to announce we have gone in to partnership with Leander Club, providing every Leander athlete and coach with Maui Jim sunglasses. This backs up our belief that world class athletes should be wearing world class sunglasses. We had an amazing day at Leander Club fitting all the athletes with their chosen Maui Jim!

Ronit Furst visits Frost Borneo!

We had a great time when Ronit Furst visited us in person last week.
While she was here she created an amazing window display and met all the team! It was an honour to meet this lady who has built up a successful hand-painted eyewear empire after designing her own frame many years ago when she couldn’t find one she liked in the shops!
